with a comprehensive update to
prepare for the Certification
Examination. The CCRN Certification
is recognition of individual
achievement.
Speaker: Gail Sullivan, RN, MSN,
ARNP, CCRN
Gail
graduated with a BSN from the
College of Mt. St. Vincent located
in New York City. In 1996 she earned
her MSN-ARNP at Florida
International University in Miami,
Florida. She has over 25 years of
experience in the nursing profession
where she has worked in varied
units: Medical-Surgical,
Orthopedic-Spinal Cord Injury,
Neurology- Closed Head Injury, and
Intensive Care Units-Medical and
Surgical. Her varied roles have
included working as a certified
adult care nurse practitioner for 6
½ years with the homeless and
indigent community, a critical care
educator teaching critical care
courses, and an adjunct faculty at
local colleges and universities. She
is also an ACLS Instructor.
Course
Objectives:

Discuss and practice test-taking
skills.

Review critical anatomy,
physiology and pathophsiology of
each system.

Discuss significant assessment
and diagnostic findings relevant
to the critical care
environment.

Discuss clinical presentation,
as well as, specific patient
management of commonly seen
critical care conditions.
