Course Description "Enjoyable and Stress-Free Course"

This course is the refresher for the HIV/AIDS requirement for healthcare workers in Florida. Our program meets the state and federal requirements for the training of healthcare workers on this disease.
NOTE: Those who have never taken the Initial three-hour course for HIV/AIDS in Florida and must comply with the mandatory State Requirement of Initial three hours of HIV/AIDS are referred to purchase the three-hour HIV/AIDS Initial Training Homestudy.

Course Information

Objectives:
Describe how to properly dispose of sharps.
List 3 signs and symptoms of AIDS.
Define potentially infectious material (PIM) and its disposal requirements.
Describe personal protective equipment used in healthcare.
Describe HIV/AIDS testing, assessment and interventions.
Course Fees

$15 for 1 hour of Continuing Education Credit
NOTE: If you have not taken the Florida Initial 3-Hour requirement, please visit our Bookstore for the Initial 3 Hour HIV/AIDS Course for $25.
