Course"
The
Trauma Nursing Core Course is a 2 day course
sponsored by the Emergency Nurses
Association. TNCC is an information loaded
course that provides core-level knowledge
and psychomotor skills associated with
implementing the trauma nursing process. The
trauma nursing process is used to
standardize the approach to trauma care and
is reflected throughout the course and
manual. The TNCC teaches a systematic
approach for the care of injured patient.
The purpose of TNCC is to present core-level
knowledge, refine skills and build a strong
foundation for trauma nursing. This course
is intended for RNs but may be audited by
other medical personnel for CE.
Course
Prerequisite:
TNCC
may be officially attended by RNs. It is
assumed that the participant possesses
generic nursing knowledge, has an
understanding of emergency care terminology,
and has familiarity with standard emergency
equipment.

Fees
$350.00
includes the course manual and course
verification issued by the ENA upon
successful completion of the evaluated
psychomotor skill stations and the multiple
choice examination. Expiration of
verification will occur four years from the
first day of the month in which the card was
issued. CE credits are awarded based on
hours attended.
