PICC Line (Peripherally Inserted Central
Catheter) course is the most informative in
the industry and instructs the theory behind
performing the procedure. PICC lines will
also be inserted into the training manikin
during the course for a real hands-on
experience. Patients often are discharged
from the hospital with the need for extended
lengths of IV therapy. This device’s
utilization has increased and is popular in
hospitals, home care as well as extended
care facilities. Classes are taught by our

Successful
PICC insertion into a specialized PICC
manikin
Describe
the care of a patient with a PICC line
Describe
the components of a PICC line
Describe
PICC line assessment, (normal and abnormal
findings)
This
certification course is the theory and
simulated practice for PICC line insertion.
Hospital, Home Health Care and extended care
policies differ. A preceptorship is
necessary with actual patients under an
experienced PICC clinician.
Intended
Audience
Registered
Nurses and other healthcare providers whose
practice includes this procedure.

$1750
minimum for up
to 10 people, additional participants are
$200 each. Fee includes 8 Hours of Continuing Education, "PICC
Insertion and Care" second edition
